About Us

At the Institute of Marketing we feel committed to a reality-oriented marketing. Science and practice each have a different, selective and complementary view of the reality of marketing.
  • The starting point of our research are relevant problems or challenges in the reality of marketing. As an innovative hub, we combine functions, markets and disciplines of market-oriented and market-driven corporate management.
  • We strive to connect learning processes of science and practice. Our projects and further education are characterized by an integrative view. We work closely with best practice companies. Our goal is to jointly develop the expertise and solutions of our customers and partners and to increase the success in their companies.
  • We are curious, forward-looking and forward-looking – and we each strive for a comparative progress of knowledge. The employees are interested in the content, especially in management-relevant marketing issues. Distinctive personal interest and high motivation are decisive criteria for our topic selection.
  • We apply the appropriate research methods (combination) according to the situation. Methodological competence is important to us, but not an end in itself.
  • Our institute is run entrepreneurially: projects should be productive in terms of content and be commercially successful or have an impact on the respective markets.
